sunday we went to
sandy hook to ride our bikes. when we got there it was colder than cold but we persevered and enjoyed an invigorating 45 minute ride. it is such a treat to live 5 minutes from the ocean. even if i spend the rest of my life in new jersey i don't think i will ever tire of going to the shore and watching the waves. there is something so peaceful about watching the water, listening to the hush of the waves and focusing your eyes on a horizon that never ends. it has been a huge bonus to our move and i hope to never take it for granted.

what beautiful scenery to view from the seat of a bike! why are you and ryan not wearing helmets?!
helmets? even on the granny bike i sport mine. i'm sure it's a sight.
another thing that stella & wil have in common...the love of the bike.
(i shed a tear or 2 seeing lucy on the triail as cinco would love this....sigh)

all: should definitely be wearing a helmet. on my beach cruiser i just don't think of it....but i will make an effort going forward!
looks like a fun time. i'm jealous i wish we had close by trail like that to ride bike, although we wouldn't have the great view you have. great picture of wil with you guys at your polling center.
